Transcribe
High-accuracy transcription of your sequence audio, with automatic language detection. Audio is processed temporarily in the European region.

Design
Fix text, cues and timing, then apply a preset or build your own: size, weight, colours, background, outline, shadow, spacing and position.

Insert
The preview is faithful to the final result: Mimu generates the transparent MOV and inserts it automatically into your Premiere sequence.

What it does inside.

Sync
A timestamp per word, not per block
The transcription keeps an in and out point for every word separately. That is what makes word-by-word animation possible, and what keeps the editor preview matching the final MOV.
Format
A transparent MOV generated and inserted by Mimu
When you confirm the design, Mimu renders a MOV with an alpha channel and places it automatically on your sequence. The caption stays editable inside Caption Studio and can be applied again whenever you need.
Privacy
Audio processed temporarily in the European region
The sequence audio is sent only to generate the transcription and is processed temporarily on servers in the European region.
Delivery
SRT in and out
Import an existing SRT to style it, and export SRT, TXT, Markdown and JSON for deliveries and external workflows.

Yes. You edit text, cues and timing inside Caption Studio and apply the changes to your sequence again whenever you need.
Are presets shared between projects?
Yes, on this machine: up to 20 custom presets available across your projects on this machine. Sync between devices is in development.
Can I import or export caption files?
Yes. Caption Studio imports SRT and exports SRT, TXT, Markdown and JSON. WebVTT export is in development.
Which languages does it transcribe?
It detects the language automatically and currently works with Spanish, English, French, German, Italian and Portuguese. More languages are in development along with the new selector.
