A timestamp per word, not per block
The transcription returns an in and out point for every word separately. That is what makes karaoke highlighting possible, and what makes the caption keep matching when you move a clip instead of dragging half a second behind.
Format
Essential Graphics, not a flat render
Captions are generated as native Premiere text layers. You can change the typeface across the whole video, move a line covering a lower third, or fix a word without reprocessing anything.
