Interpretation
From client language to an editing operation
«This drags» is not an instruction, it is an impression. The system turns it into a concrete proposal, shorten the block by a percentage or come into the shot later, and shows it to you as a pending change for you to approve.
Traceability
Every change stays tied to whoever asked for it
The history records which note produced which change and in which version. When the «I never asked for this» argument comes up, the answer is on record with its date and its author.
